Welcome back, friends, warriors and wizards, dragons and dwarves, to Episode 10 of the Saga of the Grog and Gryphon tavern!
“Oaths in Blood”
Tonight’s dark tale begins in the keep of the murdered Reginald De Mundershire, and his surviving servants are more than a bit disturbed as they themselves joined in on their Master’s degradations with the fairer citizenry; this is until Octavia ended Reginald’s reign of debauch. And now the surrounding villagers have revenge on their minds…
Thence we travel to the Island port town of Swordswaggle, after the crew of the Lady Wrath’s battle with a sea beastie. Here in this dark fiefdom of the Duke of Wydenbog, De V’Raltro has set out with Reyna the Red and the Amazonia, Arullia Swordcleaver to feth supplies that Olaff might affect repairs to their damaged ship. De V’Vraltro has had dealings in the past with the black market so he leaves Arullia and Reyna to quaff a few tankards at the Pentangle Pub whilst he heads out to barter with the dark underbelly of Swordswaggle for said supplies. Seems a simple task and a good way for Arullia and Reyna spend their time over some flagons of mead awaiting De’ V’Raltro. But this is Swordswaggle and tonight just so happens to be the lunar meeting of the Thieves Guild, which is held at said Pentangle Pub… And the guild likes comely wenches…
Just don’t refer to Reyna and Arullia in that manner to their faces…
Methinks they might have a sword and a mace to dishearten even the lascivious dark thoughts of the lecherous Thieves Guild…
What are two heroic ladies of adventures to do? Is that a Mace and a Broadsword being drawn I hear?
We now head to the Stygian dark of the D’Annulshire Forest where battle rages between the Lycanna of Rordor and Queen S’ylvain Dragonsmite and her Amazonian Calvary in front of the very Grog and Gryphon Tavern! While all this carnage rages about Reyna and Olaff’s Tavern, Octavia and Murrai the Goblin try to simply survive as they defend the Tavern itself….
Follow now as we travel to the Zagrathra’s sanctum hidden deep within the marshes of Elsprawna…
It is there that the evil designs of the serpent Wizardess Zagrethra have started to bear fruit most dark for she has captured the very Mage of Wight Acetegan.
With the Amber Bane wards the destruction of the Codinar and Bargrador himself may be with her scaled grasp via dark designs on Alganoir’s daughter…
As all this transpires, the last survivor of the Crystal Keep of the Magi, Alganoir and his trusted friend of the land Silverr-O parley with the Changeling of the Fates Bane Renbourne within the dark towers of Belladonna, Blood Queen of Tercia.
Just another dark tale of Honor, blood, mysticism and betrayal in the Saga of the Grog and Gryphon…
So Hoist a Tankard and Join the Quest! But don’t forget thy broadsword!
