And a parting shot …

For fun, and to round things off on the trip, here is an example of the many weird and wonderful Jam Sessions Jay and I had whilst I was in AZ. A little bit of mad scientist audio craziness ! – LOL

Enjoy !

With Special Thanks …

To everyone who made my trip to Arizona so memorable and made me feel so welcome and at home. I genuinely haven’t been to many places where the folks are as warm, friendly and chilled out as they in Arizona. To all the wonderful characters I’ve met on my travels, thank you all.

And of course, a very special Thank You to Jay for making so many dreams come true out here. And to Angie for looking after me so brilliantly. I honestly feel that I have a second home half way around the world. And that’s meant the world to me. I cannot even begin to express just how grateful I am to you both. Thank You.

ET Go Home

This rock doesn’t look much, but it’s actually one of the most interesting pieces of rock you will ever see.

It was given to me as a gift by the Geologist who found it. It’s 500,000,000 years old, and is a piece of Meteor Fragment. Apparently the original rock would have been several miles across when it bounced off the lunar surface prior to entering the Earth’s Atmosphere. So yep, this rock made a pit-stop at the moon !!!

Picture Rocks

The Photos below are of 2000 year old Native American rock artwork. Will leave you all to decide for youselves what you think they were seeing / depicting.

“How often at night where the heavens are bright
With the light of the glittering stars
Have I stood there amazed and asked as I gazed
If their glory exceeds that of ours”

– Dr. Brewster M. Higley (1823–1911)

Luna Recording Studio

I stopped by Luna Recording Studio today with Jay. One of the best appointed modern studios I’ve been in in years. Loved the wood in main live room, and booths. Kinda had a comfortable feel to it, which I suspect will really make artists feel relaxed.

I was thrilled to have met George Nado (one seriously gifted Engineer / Producer, and a real gent too). Great guy with a terrific Studio :-
