Bill, John of SIMIAN SCROLLS here.2014 is the 40th anniversary of the Apes. TV Series.Have you considered doing an audio of ‘HOTAGE’, the one full script we have that was of the series era but was unfilmed? It needs Ursus changed to Urko and Kovac to Burke, but with a couple of very minor tweaks it could really work as the finally produced ‘missing’ 15th episode. What do you think? Script is on Hunter’s page.

I had not even thought about that- but now that you mention it.

I need to get the rest of my version of BPOTA back to rolling and this also sounds right up my alley!

Thanks for Simian Scrolls (Best Magazine on this human planet) and being a groovy dude and taking the time to post here my friend!

Where are episodes 1 through 5?

Can I please get the RSS feed to include POTA episodes 1-5? Your guys version is better than the 2001 remake, and I’d hate to leave it behind. Also, when y’all gonna finish Beneath the Planet of the Apes? It’s been almost ten years.

Hello. I recently found the entire POTA original series as 2 massive episodes on The Sonic Society Podcast. At the same time, I learned they were rereleased because Bill Hollweg passed away. Iā€™m sorry to hear this, as an avid fan of audio drama and 70ā€™s/80ā€™s entertainment, his extended audio adaptations of Kolchak, POTA, and Escape From New York have brought me particular delight and I will continue to enjoy them. Thank you.
