Heya, folks.  As you know Gaia has recently moved into orbit and set up shop at BSAP.  This requires me to do a casting call for quite a few roles.

First of all – the main cast roles.  There are two of them and, sorry ladies, they are for the guys in the gang.  With both of these I am going to need a quick turn around on lines for episode 6 considering I will need to mix it soon as I finish remastering the first five episodes.  Both of these are recasts and if you want to hear what they sounded like in the old episodes then head over to http://www.misfitsaudio.com and check out the beginning of Episode 03.  I am not looking for an exact vocal match on either.  you can try and imitate the old versions but please do give me your own unique interpretations of the characters as well.

ALSO!  I am always on the lookout for new and interesting voices for new characters so if anyone just wants to send me freaky and funny and just all out weird voices you can do please do.

MAIN CAST – MALE

Name: Dr. Jonithan Noah
Biography: Dr. Noah is head Zookeeper on the Zooship Gaia.  He's an older man but don't let that make you think he's slow and not able to fight.  He's traveled the galaxy hunting and capturing animals from all planets and is also an expert in their care.  One managed to bite off his leg once but he didn't let it stop him.  He just got a cybernetic one instead. 
Vocal Type:  Think great white hunter who goes on African Safaris to take out big game.  Bit of a gruff tough guy but he's got a soft interior.

Audition Line 1: (laughs) Indeed, it is, Captain.  As you know each habitat here is quite large, several acres at least.  These here are meant for some of the larger species.  But of course any habitat is adaptable, as needed, to house most if not all species on record.

Audition Line 2: Alright, people.  You heard the Captain.  This is it. An entire planet’s ecology is at stake.  These people are losing everything and it is up to us to save whatever we can.  Strap in and let’s get moving. We’ve offloaded the animal rescue folks and now it’s our turn to go out into the bush.

Audition Line 3: Watch out!  Those babies are bigger than elephants!  (beat) Circle around them.  We’ll need to go quietly, and quickly to keep them from getting away.

Audition Line 4: Jumping Jezohazaphats!  You’re glowing pink!

Name: Amazo
Biography:  Tiny – and I DO mean tiny – companion/pet of the little girl Natty.  He's small enough to fit in her pocket and is a little alien somewhat like a cross between a monkey and a chinchilla.  He travels everywhere with her and is usually dragged into trouble by the precocious little girl.  Rather prissy and fastidious he tries to keep Natty on the straight and narrow but often fails.
Vocal type: Very hiigh pitched.  I can tweak but I'm really looking for interesting high pitched character voices.  Show me what you can come up with.  Whatever is the most distinctive, fun, and unusual is going to get picked.  He's a little child's pet and rather…  childlike himself at times.

Audition Line 1: I must advise against this action Mistress. Let's just go back to the evacuation shuttles.

Audition Line 2: Oh MY! What is that stench?

Audition Line 3: (from pocket) Ohhhh… I always forget just how much I hate space travel…

Audition Line 4: I look and feel like a drowned rat, Mistress, but I’m alright.

Audition Line: Regardless, it’s time for you two to stop fighting and get down to business.  The Council voted and there’s no getting out of it.

Phillida – motherly type – overbearing, annoying, stuffy, convinced she knows what is best and expects you to do it.

Audition Line: Oh yes you are, Desedemona.  The Council has ordered it.  The time has come for your bloodline to be passed on.

Gents:

Constantine:  Think stuffy, overbearing Dad type – Phillida's counterpart.  He is the man of the house.  Very noble

Audition Line: That’s because you decided to leave in a rush to go join the Confederation.

FCFS – EPISODE 7 AND 8

Folks, I need a bazillion folks and death screams cause I got folks dropping left and right.  Each person has at least one line  but there are at least 10 in each episode.  So…  Yeah.  Anyone who wants to kick butt and die just sling me an email and I'll sling some lines at you.  If you wanna do an alien, robot, human, funky thing from under the toilet, go ahead.   I want as many fun and interesting voiices as I can get and plenty of death screams!

Male:

Doctor – VERY drunk male scientist who a horndog and trying to get lucky

Audition Line: (surprised and very drunk) Beautiful, you can buy me whatever you like.  I was hoping a pretty grass – I mean a pretty lass – would come and keep me comshany.

MALE OR FEMALE

Aide – Just the generic sort of secretary aide sort of thing.

Audition line: I received no notice of that and this is not the time for visitors in any case.  Who are you?

Audition deadline for Noah and Amazo is Saturday March 14 and lines will be due the end of March.  That's the most time I can give.

Audition deadline for the rest is also March 14th but if I don't get enough good auditions I might extend it.
