SwagCast “2462” BrokenSea OTR Recreation Special!

Welcome back to the Swag Cast for a special OTR Recreation of the Suspense sci-fi tale: 2462!!!

And mixing our otr recreation and turning it to gold- none other then Brian Boccicco of Seraphic Panoply FAME! Brian has been a friend for years and his BRILLIANT music has graced all my productions- in fact Brian composed the theme for the OTR Swag Cast! Thankfully he lent his GROOVY mixing abilities to tonights SHOW!!!

And now some information about tonights BrokenSea recreation of 2462.
Suspense produced 2462, a superb episode about an American poet who rebels against the system 400 years into the future!But not a bright happy one-this future earth is grossly overpopulated so new laws were enacted… Art and artist thought are outlawed because “Nonproductive” workers in this world of the future are superfluous because they are not contributing to the survival of mankind with mathematical and scientific skills– so our hero, played brilliantly by Joe Stofko along with a STELLAR CAST, must face the music his poetic crimes…. If you like Rod Serling’s Twilight zone you will Love this!

“2462” was written by George Bamber and starred Lawson Zerbe as the poet and Robert Dryden as the old prison guard in the original.

This episode aired on January 21, 1962.
