Loved the surprise character in here! Seems like there’s two-of-a-kind, eh? Where else has he been seen? Is this is introduction?
I LOVE Olivia, by the way. Starting off by running from bomb blasts and complaining about the TARDIS’ capricious ways is pure companion gold. Adriana Melendez is stellar. This pairing is one of the best I’ve ever heard right up there with Tom Baker and Liz Sladen in terms of chemistry.
And here I will now say that Mark Kalita is the reason why I’m here today. His Doctor was my first audio-world Doctor. Yes, that would be even before the Big Finish productions (hello, because these are free, lol) when I discovered them over at Darker Projects. And this Doctor refuses to let go of my heart.
“I *never* trust Sontarans. NEVER.” A chill ran up my back when The Doctor said this. I swear. It’s a rare thing when an audio can do that, but it was fantastic that it happened. I knew I’d be writing a comment when I heard it.
Mark Kalita. You are the rockingest audio RAWKMEISTER that ever rocked the ROCK PARTY of Doctor Who broadcasts. I’m the luckiest guy in the world to get to work with you alongside this whole wonderworld.
DaSob and Steven Jay Cohen, y’all betta WORK this audio, boys!! You are serious bringing the Whovian universe to life, and in the bleak, nine-episode deficit coming up in the next year, we’re going to need awesome Who like this to tide us over. You more than fit the bill!
Thanks people!!
